Alexandre’s Wave

My sister asked me to make this queen size bed quilt for her son Alexandre using for inspiration a Japanese wood block print he owned and a Ricky Tims design in the center. I was led by the blues, whites, and small touch of red in the Japanese print. I designed this quilt, completed it after 18 months, and gave it to my nephew for his birthday.
