From a very early age until today my pursuit of art has been a lifelong endeavor. Childhood was charged with endlessly interesting subject matter to be interpreted and drawn. I discovered my intense interest in the rendering and interpretation of people. My time spent studying art at the University of Virginia, working primarily in painting and printmaking, cemented this artistic direction. My work there was driven by my developing mastery of the human figure as a primary subject.
My post-university creative development has been a balancing act between the pressures of everyday life and work, and the desire to create art. I’ve exhibited in galleries and competitions, while developing and maintaining a professional life as an award winning Creative Director and Illustrator.
